Northview Kids partners with the family to reach children with the life-changing gospel of Jesus Christ, to teach them the Bible, and to train them to live as His followers. Our staff of background-checked volunteers is dedicated to caring for and teaching children in a safe and loving environment.
Northview’s children’s program is divided into 3 specific divisions:
- Lil’ Ones for children birth through Pre-K
- Northview Kids for children kindergarten through 3rd grade
- Transit for children 4th through 6th grade
In all areas, the Bible is taught in a fun, kid-oriented, and age-appropriate context using drama, storytelling, music, art, games, and discussion. These children's ministry programs are available during all services on Thursday nights and Sunday mornings.
Your First Visit
On your first visit, please stop at the Northview Kids Check-In Desk located in the center, front hall of the building. Our door greeters will point you in the right direction. A Check-In Specialist will assist you in registering your child and help you find the correct class for your child.
How Check-In Works
Before Service: Check-in your child at any available kiosk using your phone number to access your child. After checking them in, a name tag and parent pick-up receipt with a unique matching code will print off. Place the name tag on your child and hold onto the parent receipt for pick-up.
During Service: In the event we need to contact you about your child during a service, you will receive a text on your cell phone requesting that you return to the check-in desk or your child’s class.
After Service: After the service, please return to your child's room and show the parent receipt to the teacher to pick-up your child. If you misplace your receipt, a Check-In Specialist can assist you in printing a new one.
